Disable Browser History to Remove Procrastination Opportunities

By disabling the browser history wasted time is sharply reduced. For example when a new tab is opened and the letter t is typed out of habit the browser won’t show twitter.com as first suggestion.

Which in turn reduces the number of times Twitter is visited. To visit Twitter one must now deliberately type the entire domain.

Don’t mistake that setting with private / incognito browsing. Only the history is disabled, sign-in cookies work as usual.
